Held at the Istanbul Fair Center between 27–29 November 2025, R+T Turkey 2025 brought together professionals from the interior and exterior sun shading and automatic door systems sectors under the same roof for three days. The fair created a remarkably strong trade volume for its exhibitors with an international visitor rate of 65%, a landmark achievement for trade shows in Türkiye. Hosting 6,042 professional visitors from 92 countries, the fair showcased the newest products and solutions of 150 companies from 16 countries.
As Eurasia’s only international trade fair in its sector, R+T Turkey once again demonstrated the significance of its contribution to the industry with the international diversity achieved across both exhibitors and visitors. Supported by the Ministry of Trade, commercial attachés, and Messe Stuttgart’s international representatives, the fair welcomed 6,042 professional visitors from 92 countries who selected R+T Turkey for their investment and purchasing decisions. Welcoming buyers from nearly every region of the world, the fair saw Greece, Russia, the United Kingdom, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Lebanon and Tunisia stand out among visitor countries. In addition to Europe and the Middle East, the participation of professionals from distant markets including Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Taiwan and China further underscored the event’s global reach.
“Our domestıc manufacturers attracted strong internatıonal interest”
Emphasizing that the fair created a strong commercial showcase for manufacturers in Türkiye and highlighting the opportunities in export markets, Ufuk Altıntop, General Manager of Messe Stuttgart Ares Fuarcılık, said:
“Our fair has raised the bar for the international visitor rate to an even higher level this year. While the international visitor rate was 38% in 2023, it reached a record-high rate of 65% this year. In other words, two out of every three visitors came to the fair from outside Türkiye. International visitors mean new markets and more export opportunities for our exhibitors. We also saw our exhibitors present an exceptionally strong profile this year, with their product diversity, technology investments and production quality.
The intense interest shown by professionals from especially the Middle East, North Africa, the Balkans and Europe clearly demonstrates that our country’s competitiveness in these regions is increasing every year. Türkiye’s export potential has now become more visible across many product groups, from door systems to motorized shading technologies.
We are at a strategically important point in foreign trade, and the international connections provided by R+T Turkey create a major opportunity for our sector to grow its export volume. The commercial activity generated over these three days has already led to very strong demand for the 2027 edition. R+T Turkey offers not only a fair for our industry but also a strategic platform that strengthens Türkiye’s position in international trade,” he said.
New international business connections at R+T TURKEY
Manuela Keller, Manager of Exhibitions and Events at Landesmesse Stuttgart, expressed her satisfaction in seeing that R+T Turkey met the expectations of its exhibitors:
“R+T Turkey once again demonstrated its strong position in the sector and within the R+T Alliance family through its remarkable international diversity this year. With 150 exhibitors, the fair hosted manufacturers from 15 countries in addition to Türkiye. Our visitors had the opportunity to access both leading Turkish brands and global industry players under one roof. In today’s economic climate, where exports are more critical than ever, this international interaction provides significant momentum for the sun shading systems industry,” she said.
Safety, energy efficiency and four-season use stood out
Safety, ease of use and energy efficiency were the prominent themes in most of the products exhibited this year. Flame-retardant curtain fabrics, motorized shading systems, high-durability door solutions and four-season pergola systems attracted significant interest from visitors. Technologies that enhance fire safety—particularly in communal living spaces—were among the standout highlights of the fair.
Another notable product group was the new generation of shading solutions that stood out with their easy installation features. Thanks to their modular structures, these systems can be assembled in a short time, offering four-season usability in both indoor and outdoor spaces while providing long-lasting protection against sun, wind and rain through high-durability fabric technologies. With their lightweight, aesthetic and functional designs, these next-generation products offer practical solutions for architectural applications and stood out especially in commercial spaces for their ability to meaningfully improve energy efficiency.
